Since leaving the Navy in 1997, I have worked for 7 different companies, six of these being Security companies and the other being a self employed Driving Instructor which is great but don't believe all you read in the adverts, £30.000 per year they say, well yes if you want to work 26 hours per day 8 days per week.

By far the best job I had was working for BAe Systems at Dunsfold Aerodrome in Surrey. The home of the Harrier and the Hawk aircraft. I worked security at Dunsfold for 4 years after leaving the Navy until the place closed down in 2001. They now film BBC's "Top Gear" and various other films there.
